The Pancake Rocks of Punakaiki

Tonight we dine with an incredible view encompassing a long stretch of beach at Punakaiki. We are enjoying a bottle of Roaring Meg Pinot (Mt Difficulty) and lapping up the view. Roaring Meg being the river crossing that we stopped at on the way to Cromwell in Central Otago. Nice to know that we have been there. Brings warm thoughts & good memories that we can savor with each and every sip.
At sunset we explored the beach and found an area of pancake rocks just asking to be explored!
